The Clipse Interview With HHO

If you are dying for cheap gas an HHO conversion seems to be the main choice nowadays. Once people know what an HHO conversion is all about, some 70% follow it up and actually install an HHO kit in their vehicle. [Author: David Payn] Do your own HHO conversion: Auto Help The Alternative Fuel Institute says HHO conversion had increased ten fold in Texas, California, Florida and Idaho last year. In the USA as a whole, sales of manuals reached 89,000. The evidence of the effectiveness of orthohydrogen in vehicles as now beyond doubt. What Is HHO Conversion? It is about adding some equipment to a vehicle's engine which supplies a better-burning fuel. This gas is known as orthohydrogen, Brown's gas or Stein's gas. It is up to 10 times more efficient than standard gasoline or diesel. As an electric current is passed through water, the H20 reacts with an electrolyzer which produces HHO. How Does an HHO Conversion Work? To put it in simple terms, you need an electrolyzer, a vaporizer and a control unit. The electrolyzer is the most critical component. It is housed in high temperature resistent casing such as CPVC. A small amount of water is added. As an electrical current is passed through the water, the H2O atoms are split into positive ions and negative electrons. The atoms reform to produce HHO. The orthohydrogen is bubbled off and passes to the vaporizer. The vaporizer sits between the electrolyzer and the carburetor. It is a very simple piece of kit and stops any moisture entering the engine. The last element of an HHO conversion is the electronic control unit. This is linked to the vehicle's ignition, battery and hydrogen generator. It controls the whole system, keeping the current at a fairly constant 13 amps. What are the advantages of HHO Conversion? Of course, you will need a decent manual to take you through the steps of building an HHO conversion kit. It is easy to do yourself or the alternative is to pass it to your mechanic. In any case, the first advantage is the cheapness of making and installing it. Allow $60 for a manual and another $120 for materials which can all be sourced online or from your local hardware store. Think about another $100 if you need to call on the assistance of a mechanic. Then, of course, there are the savings on gas. Expect to save between 20% and 60%. For most that equates to an average of around $800 every year. The other benefits are an IRS tax refund of $2,000; lower insurance premiums; improved acceleration and torque; longer engine life; and no pollution. Do your own HHO conversion: Auto Help

HHO Conversion in the USA

A water fuel system is within the reach of virtually everyone. If you own a car or run domestic appliances, a water fuel system is a sensible and cheap way to start saving on gas and energy prices. Cars and trucks, both diesel and gasoline, can have an HHO kit added for under $150, while home kits to run appliances like refrigerators cost even less. [Author: David Payn] Get your own water fuel system at Auto Help . As far as vehicles are concerned, a water fuel system is still a hybrid. Normal gas is still used but at a reduced rate. Gasoline used in cars is 70% inefficient, whereas hydrogen fuel is only about 5% inefficient. A water fuel system producing HHO can produce savings on gas bills of up to 60%. It is unfortunate that it is still not practical to run a vehicle entirely on water power. Manufacturers are testing various methods but to date space restrictions are the main problem. HHO kits are quite different. Hydrogen is produced on demand by passing an electric current through water which comes into contact with an electrolyzer. Brown's gas bubbles out. 1.1% of families in Texas now have a water fuel system. For California the figure is 0.7% and for Florida 0.5%. That may not sound like much, but the reality is that it is an awful lot of people. How a Water Fuel System Works There are three elements to a water fuel system. You will need an electrolyzer in a quart-sized CPVC housing. Coiled electrode wires may produce a better effect than plates, but it's not too important which you choose. Frankly, it depends on which manual you get. Water is added to the housing. As orthohydrogen is produced it is sent to a bubbler. The bubbler is there to ensure that no stray moisture enters the engine. Pure orthohydrogen is then drawn from the bubbler into the carburetor feed pipe and then is burnt along with standard gasoline. This improves combustion efficiency by varying degrees. The only other component necessary is an electronic control unit. It is very straightforward and cheap to make. An amp indicator is handy so you can keep the amperage at a fairly constant 13 amps. An on/off switch is a good idea. Apart from that, you will need to wire it to your ignition fuse, battery, electrolyzer and to earth. Why a Water Fuel System Is a Good Idea You can start making savings of up to 60%. If you live in the US, you claim a tax rebate of $2,000 for fitting a water fuel system. Hydrogen is easier on the valves and increases an engine's life. It is entirely non-harmful to the environment: the only byproduct is water. No modifications to existing engines are required. It is cheap and easy to fit and affects no warranties. Water fuel system kits at Auto Help .

I've had a few people commenting the fact that when they have read the book that shows how to create HHO fuel kits , they were disappointed because it was not what they tought. Let's make this clear right now : Building your own HHO generator will NOT allow you to use water instead of fuel. Once the device installed on your car, when your turn the ignition switch on, the device you have created will "electrolyze" the water, which will produce a gas called HHO. (two molecules of hydrogen for one atom of oxygen) When this gas goes through your fuel line and through the intake manifold, THIS is what will dramatically improve your fuel efficiency. Does this mean that it's not worth buying HHO fuel kits ? Not at all ! What this means is that if you see someone telling you that you will not have to use gas anymore.. well, there are big chances he is lying to you.. or he doesn't know what he is selling..! But most people still use terms like : your car will run with water .. Because it's the little water jar that makes this whole process possible ! So now that you know how this invention works, if you want to learn how to build your own, you can get the information here . Enjoy ! :)
